Starlight Compass Paper Piecing Class
Have you ever wanted to try paper piecing, or maybe you've tried it and don't quite get it? Join Deb on May 17th for an all-day class to learn and practice your paper piecing skill. Although it looks complicated, the compass repeats the same 8 wedges, so it will come together quite easily. Also included would be time to learn how to seam in the white circle into the black background. An alternate option is fusing the circle onto the background. The Starlight kit includes everything to make the top and enough extra fabric to complete a pieced back.
You will need your own working sewing machine and fine needes (like size 10), basic sewing kit including a seam ripper, pencil, and scissors you can use to cut paper. If you have a small light table, that would be helpful as well.

| Requirements: | Your own working machine in good working order with neutral thread and bobbins wound. Add-A-Quarter Ruler (available in the shop for a 10% discount for your class. A bag lunch and a beverage. Scissors and rotary cutter (if you have a small rotary mat, that would be great. If not, we have mats available). |
